Dose Content Uniformity
The delivered dose is the mass of the drug that is emitted from the mouthpiece of an inhaler when the device is actuated according to the manufacturer’s instruction. In the case of multi-dose inhalers, the consistency of drug emitted from various actuations throughout the lifespan of the inhaler (dose content uniformity) is measured.
